Gaeltacht House is a recently modernised farmhouse, offering charming accommodation for six people in three light and airy bedrooms, a lounge/dining area with traditional range and a large country table with seating for six and a snug/reading-room with cozy wood-burning open fire.
With bathroom, toilet, a fully equipped kitchen and a shower and toilet downstairs, it is the ideal base from which to discover all that the magical West Coast of Ireland has to offer the conscientious traveler.
We can help with pick ups if necessary and can provide you with local information while you are here. Helping you to plan walks, day trips etc. We also have two bikes for your use and can also arrange, should you wish for an organic food box to be delivered in time for your stay.
Our mixture of bogland, grazing and abundant hedgerows is a great opportunity for families to have the space to roam free and learn about the care and husbandry needed to sustain a healthy environment.Income generated from your holiday rental will be reinvested in the land and help subsidise future courses. By spending your holiday at Careys and without doing anything but enjoy yourself, you'll be helping us to build a greener future.
